Tulip painting on a tote bag.
Tulips are perennial plants that die back after flowering and survive as underground storage bulbs. When it emerges in spring, the tulip produces two to six dense bluish-green leaves that are clustered at the base of the plant. The usually solitary bell-shaped flowers usually have three petals and three petal-like sepals.
